Police Blotter 10/01/18 – 10/07/18

On 10/02/2018 at 5:00 PM, while on patrol in the area of 1 Meadowlands Parkway the Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old female, Jennifer Esser of Glen Cove, NY for an outstanding warrant out of Ridgefield Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00.  Ms. Esser posted bail and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/03/2018 at 9:36 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, the Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old male, Larry Fernandez of Newark, NJ for 1 warrant out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $2500.00 and 1 warrant from North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $120.00.  Mr. Fernandez posted bail for both warrants and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/04/2018 at 1:34 AM, the North Bergen Police Department transported a 36 year old male, Randy Suarez of West New York, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $400.00.  Mr. Suarez also had 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $250.00.  Mr. Suarez posted bail and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/04/2018 at 4:46 PM, Wood Ridge Police Department transported a 45 year old male, Felix Aviles of Bayonne, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Secaucus, NJ for a total amount of $2,000.00.  Mr. Aviles posted bail and was released from custody.

 

On 10/04/2018 at 9:22 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take custody of a 26 year old male, Vincent Thomas of Lumberton, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Secaucus, NJ for a total amount of $2500.00.  During the transport to the Hudson County Jail, Mr. Thomas caused damage to the rear of the police vehicle and was further charged with Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)].  Mr. Thomas was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

 

On 10/05/2018 at 1:45 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Atlantic County Jail to take custody of a 37 year old female, Sheila Justiniano of Las Vegas, NV for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ with a bail amount of $2,500.00.  Ms. Justiniano was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.   

    

On 10/07/2018 at 1:23 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Nicholas Rivera of Ridgefield, NJ for an outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.  Mr. Rivera was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. 

 

On 10/07/2018 at 10:57 AM, Secaucus Police responded on a report of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Humboldt Street.  During the investigation the police arrested a 25 year old male, Timothy Holloway Jr. of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Under the Influence [39:4-50], Reckless Driving [39:4-96] and Being under the Influence of CDS believed to be marijuana [2C:35-10B].  Mr. Holloway was issued his summonses and was released to the custody of a responsible adult. 

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On January 15th at 9:33 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 39yo male, Charlie Strickland of East Rutherford was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $124.00 from Weehawken. Bail was posted for Mr. Strickland he was issued 2 MV summonses, (Driving without Driver’s License, Failure to Possess Driver’s License) then released.

On January 16th at 9:05 am during a Motor Vehicle stop a 27yo female, Madelin Morales was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $204.00 from Bloomfield. Bloomfield PD issued R.O.R., Ms. Morales was issued 2 MV summonses (Driving After DL Suspended, Failure to Possess DL) then released.

On January 16th at 11:45 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 36yo male, Adam Quinones of Secaucus was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Quinones was issued 2 MV summonses (Seatbelt, Operation of Vehicle While in Possession of CDS) and released without incident.

On January 16th at 7:43 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 23yo male, Jhoniel Telleria -Blanco of Elizabeth was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $150.00 from Fort Lee. Fort Lee PD issued R.O.R., Mr. Telleria-Blanco was issued 2 MV summonses (Obstruction of Windshield, Driving While Suspended) then released.

On January 17th at 8:35 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 30yo female, Samantha Connelly of Jersey City for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus. In total Ms. Connelly had 4 outstanding warrants in the amount of $2,583.00 from Secaucus, Weehawken, Guttenberg and Jersey City. Ms. Connelly was transported to Hudson County Jail where custody was turned over without incident.

On January 17th at 9:14 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 38yo male, Christopher Elias of Saddle Brook was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $343.00 from Saddle Brook and Hasbrouck Heights. Mr. Elias posted bail, was issued a MV summons (Driving with a Suspended License) and released.

On January 17th at 9:35 pm Secaucus Police responded to a MV crash on Paterson Plank Rd. A 32yo male, John Prem of Secaucus was arrested for DWI. Mr. Prem was issued 2 MV summonses (DWI, Reckless Driving) then was released to a responsible family member.

On January 18th at 1:20 am Secaucus Police were dispatched to Walmart on a call of Shoplifting. A 20yo female, Krupa Shah of Jersey City was arrested for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. In addition, Ms. Shah had 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $300.00 from Hoboken. Ms. Shah was issued a summons posted bail and was released.

On January 18th at 8:31 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 38yo male, Mitchell Sanchez of Fairview was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Elizabeth. Mr. Sanchez posted bail was issued a MV summons (Driving with Suspended License) and released.

On January 18th at 12:00 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 41yo male, Kashif Barnes of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Bail could not be posted, and Mr. Barnes was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On January 18th at 4:20 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 24yo female, Stephanie Tene of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Bail could not be posted, and Ms. Tene was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On January 18th at 11:14 pm, while on Patrol, Secaucus Police arrested a 21yo male, Enrique Blaschke of Rutherford for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Blaschke was issued his summons and released without incident.

On January 19th at 8:34 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 31yo female, Jenny Garcia of Union City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Union City. Ms. Garcia posted bail and was released.

On January 19th at 12:32 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 32yo female Crystal Vargas of North Bergen was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Guttenberg. Ms. Vargas posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses, (Improper Display, Driving with Suspended License) and released.
