Initial Application

• Come to the Secaucus Police Department Records Bureau during normal operating hours 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and request a Taxi/Limousine Operator’s License Application
• A form will be provided to you by the Records Bureau for you to make arrangements to meet the mandatory fingerprinting requirement*
• Ascertain a Driver’s Abstract for the past five (5) years from the Motor Vehicle Commission
• Bring all the completed forms along with the Driver’s Abstract and receipt from fingerprinting to the Records Bureau. 

Renewals Application
For Taxi/Limousine Operator’s Licenses go to the Town Clerk’s Office on the 2nd floor of the Secaucus Municipal Government Center.

Requirements for Renewals 

• A form will be provided to you by the Town Clerk for you to make arrangements to meet the mandatory fingerprinting requirement*
• Ascertain a Driver’s Abstract for the past five (5) years from the Motor Vehicle Commission

*Fingerprinting can be accessed at the website HTTP://Uenroll.Identogo.com/.  The Service Code for Taxi Licenses and Local Ordinances that needs to be entered is 2F17ZY.  Applicants are no longer required to provide the form however the form will still be acceptable for use by the applicant to help schedule an appointment and can be brought the fingerprint appointment if the applicant chooses.
